Inaugurated in 1986, the 1,000 square metre Architecture Foundation is dedicated to design and contemporaneous architecture.

A few blocks away from the always busy Louise Avenue, in a quiet residential area, there is a surprise for you. In a former power plant, you can find scale models and photographs and films made by designers and architects from all over the world. On wednesdays, maybe you will visit the night exhibition before going back to your hotel. Opposite the foudation, there is a Decorative art building, the "lodge" (named after the former free-mason lodge) which contains the Foundation's archives and a library.
