The Bercy Park was created by Bernard Huet on the site of the former wine warehouses of Bercy. The gardens have retained the layout of the old site and certain cobbled roads which were used to transport wine from the banks of the Seine. Also, three wine warehouses, the 19th Century cellars, tall plane and old chestnut trees and the railway for transporting the barrels, have been kept. For some years, there has been a walled garden with vines and a vegetable plot.
