The Pnyx is located on the Acropolis and is a natural amphitheatre where took place between the VIth and the IVth century B.C., the people's assembly, the Ekklesia. At the south was the tribune from where the great Athenian orators, such as Themistocles, Pericles and Demosthenes, addressed to the assembly. During summertime takes place the sound and light show of the Acropolis.
